Taormina Hotel Property intends to renovate the Hotel San Domenico, the most famous and historical hotel in Taormina, the well known touristic site on Sicily’s east coast. The hotel complex presently  features 100 bedrooms distributed in two significantly different wings.

The congress area -which recently hosted part of the works of the G7 meeting- is housed in the 16th century’s monastery Church; the cloisters are also part of the public areas together with the reception, the restaurants, the events halls and the historical gardens.

The entire complex is under strict surveillance of the Fine Arts and Archaeology Department (Soprintendenza ai Beni Ambientali ed Archeologici).

The Project will include the realization of 14  new bedrooms, a new SPA, a complete  reorganization of Back of House areas, soft refurbishment of all guestrooms, full renovation of mechanical and electrical systems, restoration of the front of house monumental areas and elevations.

The group of designers includes French ID Gilles et Boissier.
