The Allianz Tower: a new building that touches the sky in the heart of Milan

The Allianz Tower was inaugurated on 13 June in the heart of CityLife in Milan.
Artelia Italia was in charge of the Project Management and the Work Supervision of the important construction that represents the second most high building in Italy and the sixth in the European Union, with its 50 floors and a height of 242 meters.
Designed to accommodate 2,800 Allianz employees and with a total capacity of over 3,000 people, the tower will become the new headquarters of the company at European level.
The building was designed by architects Arata Isozäki and Andrea Maffei and includes wide open space offices, meeting rooms and videoconferences, an auditorium, a gym, a cafeteria and a company canteen.
At the inauguration ceremony, in addition to a number of other guests from the world of  economy and institutions, was also present the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala who said: "The Allianz Tower is a very faithful representation of the spirit of Milan: it's a symbol of courage and collaboration between public and private. Courage e collaboration are the secret of the contemporary cities that want to continue to grow, and Milan is certainly one of these ".
