The Commitment is the Project and Construction Management of the complete renovation of an historical building located in the city Centre, in front of Opera House, in order to transform it in five stars Hotel of W Marriott chain. The renovated building will fully comply with Marriott W Hotel Standards and design guidelines set out by Bowler James Bradley Architects.
The challenge of the project is the coordination between all the stakeholders (The Client, the Tenant, the Interior Design, the Local Architect, the Heritage Authority).
The new hotel will be provided of 152 rooms, spa, swimming pool, restaurant, Lounge Area and Bar. 
Most areas of the building have historical protection and are under Heritage Authority supervision.
The renovation will be held considering the maintenance and restoration of the historical parts of the building and the creation of new parts and finishes that integrate into the historical spirit of the building.
At this time the works are proceeding in a very tight way to complete the activity of the General Contractor and allow the entrance of the FF&E supplier.
Artelia Italia is carrying out site inspections to verify the quality of the completed works and highlight defects or snagging and, simultaneously and collecting all the documentation to obtain the building's usability permit from the Authorities.
Artelia Italia is also monitoring the activity of the Contractor committed for doing the works agreed with the Authorities on the surrounding streets and organizing the hand-over strategy with Marriott Staff.
