Heritage buildings

Artelia has developed a range of services dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of historical heritage.

Our teams have consolidated experience in the renovation and valorisation of historic buildings, gained through numerous restoration projects of historic buildings, museums, monuments, hotels and theatres in Italy and also in France and the UK.

Thanks to this international experience, our Heritage approach offers clients advanced skills in project management, risk management and engineering services, with the aim of restoring, preserving, enhancing and re-functionalising historic buildings and sites. Our interventions aim to preserve their cultural and architectural value while maximising their tourism potential and their integration into the contemporary urban context.

Dealing with a redevelopment project on historic buildings means engaging in a profound dialogue with them. It is fundamental to understand their soul and the rules that govern them, in order to be able to enter into harmony with their identity. This process of conscious appropriation is the basis for developing coherent project proposals and is crucial in the dialogue with the public administration and, in particular, with the Superintendency of Fine Arts.
