Thanks to continuous updating on technological and regulatory developments, we implement infrastructure projects for the production, storage and transport of liquid, liquefied and gaseous refined products. In addition, we propose safety and fire prevention solutions, ensuring safer and more efficient installations. Our experience extends to both onshore and offshore projects, drawing on established expertise in maritime engineering and offshore structures.

In partnership with key players in the industry, Artelia is at the forefront of the transformation of the refining sector. We actively participate in the energy transition, contributing to the gradual replacement of oil with alternative carbon sources from biomass, recycled products and carbon capture.

Our teams work on converting refineries into biorefineries or pyrolysis plants for recycling plastics, as well as supporting the industrial development of carbon capture systems, often in collaboration with the steel and chemical industries. Some of this carbon can be reused for the production of gas or synthetic fuels, contributing to the decarbonisation of industry and reducing emissions.
