Artelia specialises in water capture (intakes, pumping, wells), distribution (canals, tunnels, pipelines) and treatment (drinking water and desalination plants). We also work on the development of new seawater treatment processes and the study of solar-powered desalination plants (CSP).

We take an integrated approach to urban water distribution, addressing issues such as quality, safety, leakage management, network efficiency and tariff structuring. Our expertise in pressure networks, hydraulic regulation and remote management allows us to support public and private entities with reliable and sustainable solutions.

To ensure water supply in the face of drought and pollution risks, we analyse vulnerabilities, explore alternative sources, design storage systems and develop contingency plans. We oversee the construction of large, energy self-sufficient reservoirs and drinking water reservoirs.

In the field of wastewater management, we design advanced sewage networks, storage reservoirs and compact, environmentally friendly and energy-efficient treatment plants. We help our customers comply with increasingly stringent regulations, such as the European Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive.
