Waste to energy

Solutions for sustainable waste management and energy recovery
Artelia supports the implementation of highly efficient household waste recovery centres, designed to separate the different categories of waste. This process distinguishes recyclables, the organic fraction destined for anaerobic digestion and residual waste, destined for incineration or landfill. In addition, we contribute to projects for the production of waste-derived fuels (RDF) from industrial waste such as furniture and tyres.
In the incineration sector, Artelia provides engineering and design services for the construction and modernisation of plants, ensuring compliance with strict European regulations, in particular the BREFs for Waste Incineration. We work to improve energy efficiency, flue gas abatement and residual ash management, contributing to sustainable solutions for waste treatment and recovery.
