MIND Renaissance
Milano Innovation District, a new Italian centre of scientific excellence and a new district of Milan.
Artelia Italia has been awarded for two framework agreements for the Works Supervision activities for phase 1 buildings: Hub, Molo, Hotel and infrastructure. MIND, Milano Innovation District will be the new Italian center of scientific excellence and a new district of Milan.
The Hub (Innovation Hub) 6,100 sqm building with a construction budget of €17.1 million. The building will contain flexible spaces for tertiary, production and research uses, and was designed by OBR.
The Molo (Mobility Hub) building which will contain parking, a shopping center, office spaces and laboratories. The building will develop 2,900 sqm of commercial space, 8,300 sqm of commercial space and 39,500 sqm of parking with a construction budget of €40.3 million. It was designed by MAD architects, Open Project srl and Progeca srl.
The Hotel - 11,500 sqm of gross floor area building with a construction budget of €23.3 million, the design is currently being defined. The infrastructures will include all the general subservices, roads and pedestrian areas, the revamping of the artificial river systems and the green landscape, all for a total cost of €15.2 million.
Artelia will also provide Executive Design on behalf of the construction company CMB for the buildings 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 intended for the tertiary sector with surfaces of respectively 18,000 sqm and 20,000 sqm.
