NEW SIR2 TRAM LINE AND SMART SYSTEM

work description

The realisation of the SIR2 tramway line, financed by PNRR funds, is part of the broader mobility development strategies of the Municipality of Padua and its urban belt. The reference framework is provided by the PUMS, the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan.  Lot 2 EST connects Padua station with the municipality of Vigonza and provides a link to the New Hospital of Padua. The design concerns the road system, logistics (depots, workshops, car parks), bus stops and terminals, the contact line and the technological network (force mains, traffic light preference, telecommunication network). The RTP  developed the Final Design and Artelia also provided for the Project Management services.
