In 2014 Unicredit began an intensive programme of redesigning its retail Bank Agencies in Italy, applying a new interior concept design by Matteo Thun & Partners. In 2015 ARTELIA was awarded two framework agreements in the Central Italy and Sicily Areas for Design & Build services. ARTELIA was responsible for the management, design and execution of interior renovation works for an average of 500/800 sqm for each bank agency. During the works, the bank agency continued its normal operations with Artelia managing the challenging balance between works and the operational needs of bank personnel. The works involved all mechanical and electrical systems, painting, ceilings, plastboard and parquet pavement. Construction time was around 4 months per agency. From June 2015 we completed 10 sites with a total area of 6,000 sqm in the Centre and Sicily regions.
