Auxitec enters the Artelia Group
On the 5th of July 2017 the merger between Artelia and Auxitec was signed, with Artelia’s acquisition of 100% of Auxitec’s shares.
The merger became effective on the 24th of October 2017, following the approval of the French Competition Authority.
With this acquisition, Artelia - one of the leading French engineering companies in construction, infrastructure, water and environmental sectors - has established itself as one of the most important engineering companies in Europe and one of the main operators in the 'industrial engineering market’. As a result Artelia will benefit from Auxitec’s skills and customer base, thus significantly expanding the range of services offered.
At the same time, joining an international group that is active in over 35 countries represents a real opportunity for Auxitec to develop its business in new sectors and markets beyond the national borders.
Artelia thus becomes a reference point in Europe’s engineering sector, with about 5,000 employees and a turnover of € 520 million *, the only French operator that is able to successfully combine a variety of competitive skills in the construction, infrastructure, water, and environmental industries.
